About Us

Ahlul-Bayt School of Leadership (ABSOL) is an international not-for-profit organization founded in Canada with a vision of providing education and training to humanity in Servant Leadership Model throughout the World.

ABSOL is committed to bringing the servant leadership model to humanity with examples from the lives of Ahlul-Bayt including Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his wives and children and then Ali (May God’s mercy and peace be upon him) and his children through Fatima (May God’s mercy and peace be upon her) and then the children of Hassan and Hussain to present day and to end of times.

ABSOL will accomplish its mission through the following key activities:

  • Provide education and training in servant leadership model to humanity throughout the world using examples from the lives of Ahlul-Bayt;
  • Establish leadership schools including e-learning throughout the world with a focus on researching the lives of Ahlul-Bayt in personal development and leadership for humanity;
  • Make education and training in Ahlul-Bayt’s servant leadership model affordable for humanity throughout the world.

Meet the Charter Members

Syed Umair Shah

Syed Umair Shah is the Founder and President of Ahlul-Bayt School of Leadership. Umair was born in 1977 and raised in Sindh, Pakistan and later immigrated to Canada in 1998 with his family.

Umair is a believer in servant leadership to impact change in society. He is a student of servant leadership model and focuses on personal and professional development through mentoring, coaching, teaching and training.

Umair is a life-long learner currently focusing on management and leadership to develop himself and those around him. He is also very keen in volunteering in community organizations especially in promoting education in the world and mentoring individuals.

Maria Shah

Maria Shah

Maria Shah is an Early Childhood Educator and has experience working with families and children for over 14 years. Maria has helped and supported the children through different phases of their developments, planned activities, and programs for them and also supported their families by providing them various community resources.
Maria’s goal is to continue support and help the families and children and empower them through education.

Roohum Syed

Roohum Syed is a Registered Early Childhood Educator and have more than 14 years of experience working with children and families. She is also proud mother of two and is currently residing in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Roohum has also taken an interest to learn the Holy Qur’an after taking her first 18-month program at Al-Huda Institute Canada.

Syeda Rubab Naqvi

Syeda Rubab Naqvi is Attorney at law. She was born in 1987 in her hometown Abbottabad, Pakistan. Rubab graduated with Bachelor’s of Law from the University of Punjab and obtained license to practice law from the Islamabad Bar Council.
Rubab’s practice focuses on complex criminal and civil litigation, human rights and social inequality. She is also working as a volunteer humanitarian to train and make a difference in the life of the community.

Syed Shah Hussain

Syed Shah Hussain was born in 1971 and graduated from Formen Christian College in Lahore, Pakistan. Shah immigrated to United Kingdom in 1999 and currently lives in London with his family which includes his wife and daughter.
Shah is self employed working as a transfer service provider for Emirates and Qantas VIP passengers.
